Registration Information
Please review the information below before completing registration.
Waynor Rowing is a membership-based youth rowing organization. Registration in a Waynor program includes a Waynor Program Membership for the applicable season.
What Your Membership Includes
Your Waynor Program Membership includes:
Participation in your athlete’s selected program for the registered season, coach-led practices, use of Waynor boats and equipment, and family access to the Waynor community throughout the season.
Some activities may have separate costs such as team apparel and optional equipment. We will communicate those costs in advance whenever possible.
Before You Register
Please confirm that:
Your athlete meets the age and experience requirements listed for the program.
A parent or legal guardian is completing registration for each participant under age 18.
Your athlete is able to attend at least 80% of the scheduled program sessions.
You are prepared to complete required waivers, health information, emergency contacts, and other participation forms before the first session.
Your athlete is able to pass a swim test.
Registration is complete once all required forms are submitted and the initial membership payment has been received.
Payment, Cancellation and Refunds
Payment:
Your Program Membership fee is listed on the program registration page. Payment is due at registration unless a payment plan is offered. When available, payment plans include an initial payment at registration followed by scheduled automatic payments.
Families are responsible for keeping payment information current. If a scheduled payment cannot be processed, we will contact you to resolve it promptly. Athletes may not be able to continue participating until their account is current.
Cancellation and Refunds:
We understand that plans can change. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to steven@waynor.org.
Before the program begins: Membership payments may be refunded less a nonrefundable enrollment deposit of $100.
After the program begins: Program Membership fees are 50% refundable for athletes who cancel within the first week of practice. At the start of the second week, membership fees are nonrefundable.
Illness, injury, or unexpected family circumstances: Waynor will make reasonable efforts to work with families when an athlete cannot continue because of circumstances outside their control. Any credit, partial refund, or transfer will be considered individually.
Program cancellation by Waynor: Families may choose a full refund or transfer to another available Waynor program.
Weather and water conditions: Rowing is an outdoor sport. Coaches may adjust, relocate, shorten, or reschedule sessions when weather or water conditions require it. Weather-related changes do not automatically result in refunds.
Participation Expectations
Waynor is built around challenge, teamwork, discipline, and growth. Athletes are expected to:
Follow coach instructions and all safety expectations.
Arrive on time and prepared for each session.
Wear appropriate athletic clothing and secure footwear.
Treat teammates, coaches, staff, equipment, and the environment with respect.
Participate in a way that supports a positive, focused team environment.
Waynor may pause or end participation when an athlete’s behavior or safety needs cannot be appropriately supported within the program.
Before participating in on-water programs, athletes must complete a swim test administered by a certified lifeguard. Athletes must demonstrate the ability to:
- Swim 25 yards without assistance
- Tread water for three minutes
Swim-test requirements must be completed before an athlete’s first on-water session.
